Well we had a great time at Cramlington, as anticipated.  Great people there and we felt very much at home.  They must have liked us because they’ve already asked us to return….again ….  Many thanks to Keith, Dave and John.

En route back to the Midlands we visited Darlington Folk Club and they were very welcoming too.  They’ve asked us to return as guests so we’re looking at dates.

On Tuesday we’ll be in Essex so we’re popping in to do a floor spot at The Hoy at Anchor Folk Club at  Leigh on Sea.  Steve’s an Essex boy (South Ockendon) and I used to work in nearby South Benfleet, so we’re looking forward to returning to the area and maybe renew some acquaintances.

So it’s on to the weekend and Hicks and Goulbourn are scheduled to play at The Acoustic Festival of Britain at Uttoxeter Racecourse on Friday and Saturday (do check the schedule for exact times) – programme avilable at www.acousticfestival.co.uk
